About Rosalie

From Performer to Platform Speaker

Talk about stress!  I was the original Frazzled Hurried Woman! (the title of my book). I’ve been a health and wellness speaker since 1995. Our fast paced and pressured society often leads to high levels of stress and its many associated mental, physical and emotional problems. As a singer and performer prior to my health and wellness career, I truly was a stressed out wife, mother, daugher, community volunteer and somewhere under all that – woman! My own health was becoming compromised.

After a health scare at one of my yearly check ups, along with a family member’s diagnosis of mental illness I became motivated to seek methods to dissolve stress and improve my health. I even changed careers when I saw such positive results and healing for my family member’s mental health.

Eventually, my personal journey and research, along with stress, wellness and nutrition education led me to the commitment of helping others. I’m still having the best time performing (having been on stage since I was three years old) Now as well as bringing fun and well-being to the hearts of my audiences, whether in person or e-learning,  I enjoy being able to impart important messages on how people can embrace good health, set priorities and get down to basics with self care, outstanding nutrition and other positive lifestyle changes.  Just putting up your feet when tired isn’t such a novel idea – but it works! Sitting at computers well into the night isn’t a great habit (as we know by the way we feel the next day!)

I’ve found that employees everywhere need inspiration and direction as they seek better ways to take care of themselves. According to the Human Resources Director Magazine, wellness initiatives instituted by companies in Canada and the U. S.  have reported substantial returns on investment.  I’d be pleased to bring value to your organization and create programs to suit your culture to rejuvenate the health and well-being of your staff. I continue to be inspired and touched by the many success stories I hear.”
