Smoothie Recipes

Each recipe makes 2 or 3 servings

healthy smoothie recipeBrainy Blend
½ cup almond milk
1 scoop rice protein powder
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup seedless grapes
1 cup fresh or frozen spinach
1/3 cup ground flax or chia seeds
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Eye Opener
½ cup almond milk
½ cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup cranberry juice (no sugar)
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
½ cup fresh or frozen or fresh pitted cherries
1 banana (without the peel!)
Add ¼ tsp. of stevia if needed or 1 tsp. of agave syrup or cane sugar
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Anna Banana
1 cup of cow’s milk (unsweetened soy or almond milk)
1 banana
1 tbsp. rice protein powder (or whey protein powder)
1 tsp. of agave syrup or cane sugar
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

 

Too Green to Be Seen
1 cup of plain yogurt or (unsweetened soy or almond milk)
1 small zucchini or small cucumber (organic)
1 tbsp. rice protein powder or whey protein powder
1 tsp. of agave syrup or ¼ tsp. stevia powder or cane sugar
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Very Berry
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 tbsp. of brown rice protein powder
1 tbsp. of cranberry powder
¼ tsp. stevia powder or 1 tsp. of agave syrup or cane sugar
3 cups clean, filtered water
(Add a spoon of rice or whey protein powder for a brain boost.)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until sooth
